I’m a daughter of the King. That makes me a princess. I don’t always act like one, but I am blessed to be a recipient of grace.
Someone once described me as old-fashioned with a modern twist. I love that.
I’m a mother of three, a daughter, a sister, a pianist, a part-time organist, and a writer.
My purpose in life is to help lonely, hurting, brokenhearted people who, because of poor choices they have made, find their lives not quite going the way they had planned.
I am a single parent. My ex-husband, an engineer, was laid off from his job six years ago and was blessed to find a new one (1300 miles away). He lives and works in one part of the country; I live in another part of the country with one of our two daughters and my son. Our other daughter ventured off to yet another part of the country to attend college. Life is hard, but God is good!
The past few years have been ones of transformation. I sunk into major depression, fought my way out of it, and re-entered the work force after being a homemaker for 18 years. I’ve learned new skills and am becoming reacquainted with who I was before losing myself to motherhood.
God is transforming me into the person He wants me to be. I’m learning who I am in Christ, and I am sharing what God is teaching me. I pray it blesses you in some way. If you like my posts, I pray that you would share them with others as a means of encouragement and a source of hope. Thank you!
